The process to a diagnosis and treatment program

Option 1: Diagnostics from your practice (you or a counselor can support the client)

Your client comes to your practice. The POH GGZ (or another professional) registers him/her with GGZonline and remains present for support. This can be especially helpful with the digibet, among others. After sending the application form the information (including the referral letter) is checked and on very short notice the client is called and informed about the entire process and an appointment is made for the 1st intake interview. This appointment will be confirmed to the client by email. Once approved, your client will receive a link to a secure Embloom (formerly Telepsy) environment before the first online appointment where the client can answer questionnaires that are an extension of the primary help question. The goal is for the client to have answered these questions before the first online interview takes place. A few days before the first appointment is scheduled, the client will receive an email with an explanation and a link to Webcamconsult. This is our secure online treatment practice. The client does not need to have any special software on his computer or download any software. This link allows the client to get in touch with the psychologist. Half an hour before the appointment, the client can already take a seat in the so-called digital waiting room via the link. From there, the client is “picked up” by the psychologist for the interview. During the first appointment, the psychologist then goes through the diagnostic process with the client to arrive at a complete diagnosis. If necessary, multiple appointments will be made to properly assess the complaint and symptoms. At regular intervals, a directing clinician will be involved. The final diagnosis is made with a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who have been involved in the diagnostic process. Together with the client and the directing clinician, the psychologist draws up a treatment program and schedules follow-up appointments.

Option 2: Client signs up from home and accesses GGZonline practice environment

Your client registers online at home with GGZonline for his/her appointment. Preferably, your client has already received a referral letter from you to upload during registration. The referral letter is necessary to enter treatment. After sending the application form the information (including the referral letter) is checked and on very short notice the client is called and informed about the entire process and an appointment is made for the 1st intake interview. This appointment will be confirmed to the client by email.
